PILIER EXHIBIT HOLDS GROUND

         It was a hot summer night last April 30 when e GALERIE (2/F, The Shops at Serendra, Fort Global City) held the opening of "Pilier" a one-man show by social expressionist VINCENT PADILLA.

           Handsome and dignified Secretary of Health Francisco Duque III was there to cut the ceremonial ribbon while another dashing doctor, Gio Dimayuga, joined in.  The sizzling event also coincided with the birthday celebration of e GALERIE managing partner Sarah Evangelista who looked fabulous in her Randy Ortiz dress.  Hence, the occassion was graced by her lovely amigas such as IT beauty and brains Ann Jacobe, Hong Kong based jeweler Ophie Nunez, leather goods exporter Ann San Diego, real estate developer Lisa Araneta, self-made entrepreneur Gigi Trinidad, yoga guru Ina Sibug and retired Kuwait Airways matron Cora Mendoza.

            The pulsating crowd took turns admiring Padilla's works and deciphering their underlying meanings while enjoying the lavish cocktail dinner served by no less than Chef Ari Peralta of The Room Upstairs.  Free flowing ice cold beer and wild fruit punch kept everyone's temperature in check as DJ Mylene blasted out the latest House music favorites from Ibiza.

            This show was H, O, T   -  HOT!
